Unlike email and SMS, Digipost is a closed and secure system where all mail is encrypted. This means that no one else can read your mail. Furthermore, we guarantee that the senders are who they claim to be. Therefore, you can safely read and store your mail with us.
In addition to receiving secure communication, you can also send encrypted messages to other individuals and certain businesses through Digipost.

All sectors in Norway use Digipost to send you important messages digitally. With Digipost, you won’t have your inbox cluttered with newsletters and advertisements; you only receive important messages.
Your private archive of messages you own
Everything you receive in Digipost is yours, and the sender cannot alter the document after you have received it. Everything you receive will remain in Digipost until you choose to delete it. You can create your own folders if you wish, and it is also possible to upload your own content.
Free of charge
As an individual, you receive all digital mail for free, and you can send up to 100 letters per month without charge. You can store up to 1 GB of letters and documents for as long as you like.
