Accessing someone else's Digipost account

Do you, or someone you know, find it challenging to keep track of what comes into Digipost? You should not borrow or lend your BankID, but instead set up account sharing in Digipost.

Granting account access is a safe and convenient way to help someone who:

  • lives in a nursing home
  • struggles with using digital tools
  • is either old or young
  • or is simply a bit forgetful

There is no need for power of attorney to gain access to another person’s account, as long as the account owner themselves shares the account.

This access allows you to:

  • read and receive notifications about new mail
  • send mail on their behalf
  • save and download content from the mailbox

How to set up access:

  • go to your profile and select "Access"
  • to grant access, you must be logged in with BankID, Buypass, or Commfides
  • search for the person you want to grant access to and select "Grant access"

  • log in with your own Digipost user account
  • go to the mailbox menu
  • click on your name at the top
  • mailboxes of other people you have access to will appear
  • select the mailbox you want to view
  • the next time you open Digipost, you will automatically return to your own mailbox
